She is tiny. She is powerful. She has an attitude. She has declared war on her parents.
I think if she were able, she would, in a tiny French accent, tell me to go away, and then very casually, take a slow drag from her cigarette.
I told her she should probably hold off on any invasions of Eastern Europe until the spring, but you know how the French can be.

Have you made it to the 'possessed by a demon' cry? Isaiah gets there after about 2 hours of solid "i'm NOT happy with what's going on right now" crying. We find that on nights when we know we're going to have a good period of crying (when we're hoping to extinguish a waking at the wrong time behavior...), we get the laptop set up with a movie before we go to sleep. Then, when the crying commences, we're able to stick to our guns a bit better when distracted by a different time killer. It does get better, though. Hang in there - and give that little Napoleon a hug for me.
Wow, this kid is setting herself up for greatness! And to think I was going to suggest we start calling her the Velvet Hammer... perhaps Napoleon is much more appropriate.
