We watched the convention in its entirety last week, and I sat in wonder at the sheer historical implications of what was happening. Hillary Clinton making her speech on the 88th anniversary of women's suffrage, Barack Obama accepting the Democratic party nomination for president on the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. It was an amazing week.
And now I hope beyond hope.
