I haven't posted in a while, and for no real particular reason. We've just been doing regular things, going to the store, watching Evie cruise around, etc.
I have been crazy with the craigslist and sold over $1600 worth of stuff last weekend, which was very exciting.
I do not need surgery on my arm, but I do have severe nerve damage, which may or may not heal. I have most of my mobility back, and if you saw me and didn't know me, you probably would not notice that I am injured. But I still can't really feel my hand, and I have very little strength in it, which is weird and annoying. I also have the feeling like I hit my funny bone every once in a while, which is most unpleasant.
Bryan is now in Lost Angeles until Thursday evening, and I am up to my regular routine, watching the neighbor kids every day after school and going to physical therapy. I am also going to worship team practice this Thursday for the first time, which should be most fun and rewarding.
Last night Colby Long and his long-time girlfriend Elizabeth came over for dinner. It was wonderful to finally be able to meet Elizabeth and spend some time with them. Evie enjoyed all the attention and once she went to bed we had some fun playing Wii, a recent acquisition thanks to Chrysler.
Evie is busier than ever and bound and determined to walk, although she has yet to let go. She stood up from the middle of the floor last night, and then just stood there and smiled...she hasn't really done that before--without pulling up or holding on to anything for balance, that is. She just stood up, like she's been doing it all along.
I think she is also trying to scale the baby gates. I've noticed that she will stand with her hands on the gate, and will then hook her toe up on the side, like she's trying to get some leverage. This does not bode well for me.
Oh, and for those of you wondering about the whole cramping thing from a few weeks back, yeah that mystery has yet to be resolved. No more of the pain, but umm...well. The mystery has yet to be resolved.
