Also, just because you know, I'm a complete dork, I fell down the stairs last night. Feel completely, as in, missed three steps and just went a' tumblin' down. To save myself from going "splat" on the hard tile below, I reached out and grabbed the rail. In so doing, I was able to prevent hitting the tile, however I did manage to do a complete 360 degree spin and completely tork my shoulder, back and neck.
Which shoulder is causing me agony today you ask? Oh that would be my right shoulder, the one I've had surgery on--to repair a torn rotator cuff. I don't think it's torn again, but it does smart quite a bit. And it makes doing things like lifting a 9month old child a little tricky.
Needless to say, there's been a lot of Baby Einstein today, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Because daddy is at work, and I can't move my arm, so we do what we must to entertain the child.
