Question: Did you get her an Easter Basket?
Answer: No.
Question: Doesn't that make you a Scrooge and a bad sport?
Answer: Perhaps, but here's the deal, she can't eat the candy, (and I don't want to end up eating it) she doesn't need another stuffed animal since she already has more that FAO Schwartz, and she doesn't even know what is going on. We might get her one when she's older, but for now we're saving our money, our waistline and our teeth.
Question: Did you do anything at all?
Answer: Yes! We dressed her in her new dress, we went to church, and we came back home. I also let her play with a bag full of tissue paper; she was thrilled.

And she looked dang cute too...just think she would have never fallen asleep for the nursery workers if we would have given them candy!
