Ok, So I know some women just absolutely LOVE being pregnant- I am not one of these women. Perhaps it's the hyperemesis, perhaps the pre-tem labor, perhaps it's the 4 months on bed-rest, but I'm ready to be done. Alas, I still have 2 months to go. I'm not trying to be a wimp or complain, I'm just telling it like it is.
We had an ultrasound today. Baby girl is doing absolutely great! She's 3.5 lbs, but only 40th percentile in length. The ultrasound picts didn't really turn out, but the doctor commented on how chubby she is...looks like we're going to get a short "stocky" girl, just like her momma.
And she is DEFINATELY a girl...we had him double-check just to be safe. :-)
I've hit an all-new high in weight...so very scary this number, that I will not be sharing with the public, but let's just say there's a whole lot more of me these days. The doctor is excited since I lost so much weight in the beginning, and I guess I still haven't gained that much, but it's a big number regardless.
Here's the latest photo...we took it when we got back from the doc's, since I was still up, and dressed in something other than the usual sweat pants and screen t-shirt. ;-)

I didn't like being pregnant either, it's worth it in the end but the process isn't great. Try not to worry about the weight too much, I gained 47 lbs during my pregnancy and lost all the weight within the first year. (I was a little bigger person before I got pregnant, that weight is harder to lose) Hang in there, we're thinking about you!
I'm so glad to hear the baby's doing well. Hope you're feeling better, too! :)
Hang in there, Steph. Remember what Carrie Wall told me: She saw numbers while she was pregnant that she'd never seen before and has never seen since. I gained 80... yes, 80 pounds with the boys. (And yes, I know there were two of them inside of me, but still... ) You'll lose the weight after Little Girl is born. Enjoy the sweat pants. Anything that makes you comfortable, I say.
P.S. -- You're looking great. I can't wait to see you for your baby shower!
